You can see her garlic in the second photo and it's interplanted with a pretty mix of red and green lettuces - another good use of space.. Happy Gardening!

Great idea about the row cover...everyone should have a bit of that in the shed for emergencies as well, plastic or fleece...like yesterday when the heavens opened with razors of rain...poor delicate early lettuce....but did manage to protect most of it. The sun has come out down here..hopefully where you are as well.
